I won't go into the details of why I started this diet... it's kinda gross. Basically it is a 3 day diet where I will eat nothing but vegetables and fruits. Today is day 1. I went to the grocery last night and bought tons of good food. I am not going to drink soda or eat candy either. After the 3 days though I'll probably catch up on what I missed out on! This weekend Judy and I went to Port St. Lucie for her niece's 1st birthday. It was poodle themed so Logan fit right in. I had a good time. I wasn't able to make my soccer game because of it. The league updated their site yesterday and to my surprise my team won 5-2 without me. We never score that many goals! How come when I leave they decide to score? Now we are in 3rd place and I am sure we will make it to 1st by the end of the season. This weekend I don't have anything planned and am looking forward to relaxing.

Now that I am running harder my left knee is starting to ache. I think this is because I am not using my right leg because subconsciously I am scared of hurting it. Lately I have been getting shin splints and I think this is also because I am running harder but not evenly. When I slow down the shin splints feel less crampy. During my last run I tried somewhat to put more stress on my right leg. You might be able to tell from my workout info that it was my fastest run which is a good sign. During my next run I will try to concentrate on this more. I still feel that my right leg is significantly less developed than my left leg. I will be out of town this weekend so I won't play soccer but Monday I am planning to run.

Speaking of running. It will be a good way to relieve some stress! Between work, side work, dealing with the house, and all other things I need a break even if it's for a 30 minute run. I am probably doing too much. All my life I think I've been lazy... I miss those days! Getting older bites.

The fourth little pig walked on, along the road, with his sow Judy. Soon they met the internet and found a kick ass house to buy.

"How do you like this house honey?" asked the sow to her little pig. "Looks like a winner."

"Yay!," said the sow and together they bought the house.


Well, not exactly but close! Today the owner accepted our offer and so we will be buying the house previously mentioned. It has to pass inspections and all that goodness first of course. Judy and I will begin compiling our "things to change" list this week. This is exciting!

My soccer game this weekend ended up in a 1-1 tie. It was very cold and I wasn't in the mood to play. Whatever!

I finished my YouTube API. It is COOL! I built more functionality into my blog which lists and shows my videos instead of taking you to the YouTube site. So far about 25 people have downloaded it. I hope it becomes more popular. YouTube's API is kind of limited though so I hope they plan to expand it.

I'm out. I need a good night sleep for work tomorrow!

As you can see there is now a section on the right side bar that shows my videos. This morning I wrote an API that does this for me. YouTube doesn't have an official link to any API's and I didn't bother looking for any so I don't even know if there are any existing ones for .NET. I've only written methods to pull a user's profile and get their videos. There are 11 methods total so I still need to implement the other 9. My API looks pretty damn good though

I was informed today that the media site project I am working on already won the CENIC award. I guess they based it off of the proposals that were sent in and you just have to present it at the conference. Cool

Judy and I put an offer on a house today. Check it out. We've been negotiating all day but we should get it. It is only a few miles away from where we live now (in the same zip code too). I already want to change a lot of stuff with the house - the back yard is horrid. There are no neighbors behind the house because there is a preservation area which means it should be more quiet than most places.

Put one in the win column! Yesterday my team won 2-1. I got an assist on the first goal. It was a free kick that I put on the goal. The goalie tried to catch it with his hands but I put a lot of spin on it so it bounced off, hit the upright, and a teammate followed through and kicked it in. We should have won by more than a goal but at least we won.

This week I have a lot to do at work. Actually I have 8 weeks worth of work built up. I will have even more work assigned to me over that time so it will just keep building and building. Summer is our slow season so hopefully I can knock all of this stuff out so I can take a couple days of vacation.

How about them Heat? My soccer game prevented me from watching the game but I heard that they played very well yesterday. They should do well in the playoffs. I want playoff tickets! Valentines day is this week too... I wonder what I should do for Judy? HMMM?? In my email today I got a notice about renewing my UM football tickets. I think I will budge for another season just in case they do well. I think Randy Shannon will do a good job.

I've also decided that my next car will be a Corvette. But who knows when that will ever happen.

First game of the year was yesterday... a 0-1 loss. I actually scored the winning goal for the other team. From a corner kick the ball came to the forward I was marking. We both went up for the header... he headed it into my head which deflected it up and it kind of just floated into the net. It seemed like it was in slow motion as I saw it go in... what a shame. There was nothing I could do about it really so I can't say it was 100% my fault. It was just an unlucky bounce. Other than that the game was pretty good. We have a few new players who did well. I think by the end of the season we will come together and win the division.

Judy and I had some of her friends over and we had a good time but the actual game, commercials, and half-time were poop! How would you like to be one of the spectators at that game? All of that money just to sit in the rain and watch an ugly game with no thrills other than the kickoff return. You don't even get to watch the commercials (which weren't that great anyways). The only one's I thought were funny were the Career Builder commercials with the office workers in the jungle.

Anyways I have some stuff to do tonight and it's almost midnight so I better get crackin'. I learned today that I will definitely be going to the CENIC thing in March which I am pretty excited about. That made my day! Okay I really have to get stuff done now...

Oh I have to add one more thing. I am scratching #7 off of my 2007 resolutions list because there is a Microsoft toolkit that came out a couple weeks ago that has a tab control + a bunch of other really neat controls. Writing my own version would be stupid.

RD Keene field is about 30 minutes away so that wasn't very cool. I don't know if any of these teams are any good. The only team we've played is Union SC and we beat them twice last season. Thursday night we have soccer practice which I went to. My blisters cracked at practice but they didn't hurt really. I have saddle soap cleaned at least twice and have been breaking them in by hand. I should be good to go for tomorrow. I told the coach I want to play forward since last season we were the lowest scoring team so hopefully he will give me a shot.

Tomorrows game will end just in time for me to make it back home for the super bowl. This week I picked up an HD cable box + DVR combo just for the game. The DVR is probably already full of HGTV and Grey's Anatomy though I am going to clean up and run some errands now. All this rain makes for a lovely Saturday!
