I got around to fixing things in my Nike+iPod Website Widget program. It was not working with generation 2 and 3 iPod nano's. Since I now have a generation 3 nano I had to fix it. So now I updated my program and uploaded the runs I have done so far. There were maybe 2 or 3 runs where I didn't have the Nike+iPod so I am missing those but I'll just make it up by running more!

Yesterday I went running and before I left the drive I hooked up my Nike+iPod but the iPod could not located the sensor. Looks like the battery died! You cannot replace the battery in these things so I'll have to make a run to Sports Authority tomorrow to pick up a new one. Maybe I will update my Nike+iPod widget while I am at it. I wonder how many people are still using that thing... I lost interrest in keeping track of it's users a long time ago.

Today I finally got around to installing Visual Studio 2008. Using this means I will now be using the .NET 3.5 Framework instead of 2.0. 3.5 has some cool new features that I will need to learn. Primarily LINQ which I am currently reading a book on. It also comes with the latest version of ASP.NET AJAX Extensions built in compared to previous versions where it came as a seperate install. I haven't heard much in terms of advancedments in the core extensions but hopefully they are a little better. The real icing with ASP.NET AJAX is the control toolkit which I am hoping they add a GridView with drag-and-drop rows to real soon.

Judy got me a new ipod nano (with video) for our one-year-away-from-getting-married occasion. My old ipod nano broke a couple months ago.

I had a crown put on today and it was expensive plus I had to stay there for 4 hours! I hate the dentist!

Last night I thought I had kicked the cold but I woke up feeling horrible. Took the day off of work. I am still feeling pretty bad so I might have to stay home again tomorrow. My allergies are acting up too = super crappy.

This morning Judy and I actually woke up at 5:30 and went to Lake Marry to reserve the events center for our wedding reception. Little did we know that there are some crazy bitches who have been camping there since saturday. I feel sorry for their husbands-to-be because those chicks are psycho. All the Saturdays in March 09 were taken by crazies so that place was out of the picture. We were upset about it but figured it must be God's plan for us to have it somewhere else. There is another place I hadn't seen but is supossed to be nice that we immediately started calling. Judy had a bunch of people calling to leave messages just so one of us might have better luck than someone else trying to reserve the place. They finally called back and we got March 7th 2009. Oh ya... this place is called Leu Gardens just in case anyone wants to check it out. We went to pick up the forms we needed at 12:00 and I got to see the place. It was really nice and I thought it was better than the Lake marry events center. The best part is that it is only $800. The Lake Marry events center raised their prices $600 TODAY to $2000. I guess the whole lake marry thing actually did happen for a reason and we feel good about it now. We got a nicer place for less so that feels good.
