This weekend I put down the deposit for our honeymoon. Judy got in touch with a travel agent and she got things together for us and so now we just have to pay. I actually have all the money for the trip saved up but I'll let it sit in my savings account until January so I can get the interest from it (probably only $100 but at least it's something!) That doesn't include airfare, food, shopping, and excursion expenses though which I am still saving for. Honeymoons are expensive! Oh ya... we're going to Hawaii for 8 days. 4 days on Maui and 4 days on Kona.

I don't think I posted it but 2 weeks ago I got my new light controllers. I put together the 5 CTB16PC controllers last week since they were easy. Those are AC boards. I only used 2 of these last year. I also got a DC controller but it didn't come with anything, just the board. I am using this to control some LED flood lights. The board only runs at 12VDC which is what the LED flood lights need so it was the obvious choice. I built my own enclosure (a storage bin) and wired wall outlets to it. Came out better than I expected. Pics are up!

I will also be working on some backend upgrades to my blog since the code is really old and I've made some recent advancements that will improve performance. :-)

LS/LT models - 3.6L V6 300HP (Direct injection)

SS models - 6.2L V8 400HP (L99 motor)

SS models - 6.2L V8 422HP (LS3 motor)

It doesn't make sense that they have 2 different motors for the SS models. Why not call them something different like Z28 and SS like they used to? Still pretty sweet though. I like the black one and the orange one. :-)

I didn't win because LOR picked the orders that they are giving away for free and mine wasn't one of them. sux0rz!

I did win because I've finished two more sequences. One of them being my finale! I love it so much I watch the animation every day. w00t! I placed a big order for 2200 LED C9 lights too. This is going to save me 15,188.8 watts over incadencent C9 bulbs. At 120 volts that is a savings of more than 120 amps which is almost half the power to my house. That is a BIG savings!

Yesterday Judy got a new engagement ring! When I first proposed I had got the ring she wanted but it didn't have a matching band. We had to get a plain band (that didn't match the band style of the engagement ring) and then because the engagement ring sat so low had to have it notched out so it would sit flush. It didn't look very good. I decided to get Judy a new ring because she is going to wear it FOREVER and I wanted to make sure she was happy with it and that it looked good. Also the new ring is not an emerald cut so it sparkles more (more cuts). it is a square in the middle outlined with little diamonds. The band has diamonds half way around. It looks really cool. Now we just have to find a band matching band, which should be a lot easier.

Yesterday I ran 5 miles. Tiger Woods congratualted me for running my fastest mile. The day before I ran 2.5 and ran my fastest mile too. I calibrated my Nike+iPod on Sunday so now it is recording more accurate numbers. I've been just under 10min/mi pace the last two runs. I created a Running Log which is easier to track my runs with. You can sort the columns which makes it easy to see certain things.
