6mi complete

This morning I was up early and went for a run at 6:30. At least I think that was the time I left. It wasn't early enough though because once the sun came up it was hot. Sunday's are my long run and today I had planed for 6 miles. I ran over to Goldenrod Park which is 1.2 miles away. I got some water and streched. When we lived in the apartments this is where I would run to before turning around on my 3 mile course. If you remember there is a pathway for runners and bikers that goes for a few miles. I followed that until I hit 3 miles and then turned around. The good thing about the path is that it has a few water fountains. The bad thing is that it starts off directly in line with the sun so either your back or your face is directly being hit by it. It makes a 90 degree turn but I didn't run far enough to hit that point. In two weeks when I run 8 miles I will get that far but I am hoping to leave a little earlier to avoid the sun. Along the pathway they must have put new markers. There is one just past Goldenrod Park marked at 6 1/4 mi. After that you have to cross the street (changes from Orange to Seminole county) and the trail continues but there aren't any more water fountains and I don't know if the trail is still marked. I don't know how far it goes into Seminole County either. The Orange county side of the trail ends about where our rehersal dinner will be.

Way to go, guy!!! Look for some shady routes and get a water belt system. Only 209 days left.

Having a bunch of water hanging from your waist isn't comfortable though.
