Sunday night Judy and I went to PF Chang's for dinner. We got there early so we were seated right away. We ordered an appetizer and drinks and were looking at the menu for something to eat. That was when it happened! A waiting serving another table walked by holding a tray full of food. In the other hand he carried the stand to rest the try on. He hit our table with the stand as he passed. Hearing the loud thud he turned to pardon himself only to turn around afterwards to lose his balance and fall backwards. The food and dished and waiter went crashing to the floor.
Right away Judy screamed and held her face. I didn't see anything at first but after a second I spotted the gash and blood started dripping out. She was cut on the eye brow. A piece of dish must have flew a hit her. I grabbed a napkin and put pressure on it. It was coming out pretty good so the bloody napkin freaked Judy out. I was upset with the clumsy waiter but I can't say it was entirely his fault. Anyways the manager came over and tried to help out. The parametics came and once we got the bleeding down to a minimum that bandaged her up. We got to switch to a booth and had a free meal out of it. The waiter we had was actually really nice so we felt bad leaving without giving him a tip so we did leave him with a good tip.
It was really scary because any lower and the dish would have hit her eye. The next day she made sure to get a tetnis shot and we are currently exploring our legal possibilities.
On a separate note. If you are thinking about my birthday there is only one thing I want - an additional light controller for my Christmas light show.
This is the one I want. If you feel like chipping in for the cost of it please contact Judy so I don't know about it and it is a "Surprise". Thanks! Light-o-rama has a 3 week backorder so it has to be ordered ASAP. Otherwise I might not get it in time to incorporate into the show this year. (It takes a lot of time to time the lights to the music.) The light show will be so much cooler with twice as many channels & lights. Additionally I will be getting my Christmas lights from Lowes so a gift card would be a good secondary present. Not only will this be a present for me but for everyone that comes to celebrate Christmas by viewing the show.
