The surprise for Judy the other day was miniature golf. Judy beat me so I am going to have to practice more! Then we went over to Chucky Cheese and played Ski Ball and all of those other cool games. It was a lot of fun!
Yesterday I got a picture from my soccer team captain of a picture we took before our first game. Click the thumbnail to enlarge.
This morning I got an email from
Chad Dickerson (Director of Yahoo! Developer Network). I had filled out an application to be a participant in the HackDay event and this email was my official invitation to attend. There will be a conference type deal all of Friday. Then Friday night the competition will start and you have 24 hours to complete your "hack". It's for fun pretty much but Larry here at my job was saying this is how Yahoo finds new developers. I am thinking about going because it looks like fun. I am not looking to stand out or for any job opportunities because I like where I am right now. Since everyone will be pitching tents and camping on the Yahoo campus the cost should be minimal. Airfare looks to be pretty good at $300 right now. I'll have to talk with Judy and my boss and decide if I want to go or not.
